      Hello and welcome to Scratches On The Wood blog. I am Ibnu Rifki. I made this blog as a tool for me to funnel my idea and my writing skills. It is also used as a media for Introduction to Journalistic assignments. Introduction to Journalistic is an English Department third semester subject. In this subject, students will comprehend how to write in journalistic.  For students who like writing, broadcasting and finding information, journalistic is a new challenge. There will be information and news that I will post in this blog. I am not going to be Yellow Journalism for sure and there will be no sensation in this blog. I would like to post educative information, Islamic post, events, politics, cultures, etc. Either to fulfil the Introduction to Journalistic assignment, I also write essays, short stories or poetries. So, this blog is going to keep in my hand forever, share my idea and write, write, write as much as I want.
      I am expecting to comprehend this subject better. I would like to understand journal writing like how I understand essay writing. I want my information is worth for all people especially for English student. As a college student, it is important to spread some issue or information like how a problem happen and how to solve it. This subject needs many socialization and critical mind, that is why I am here. I would like to improve myself more and more because I was not a very active person. Now, it is time to be better.
      In short, this blog will be contain not just essay or journal writing but also other literary work like Islamic message, short stories or poetry. I will make this blog as an educative media and always spread a good message. I hope with journalism I can understand a new type of writing. I can improve my writing skill and have a talent in writing. I would like to be a journalist but if I cannot do it, I would like to be a good writer in making a good story or something worth for my blog in the future and keep in blog writing.     Hello Ibnu, I like your statement that you will not going to be a journalist. Why? Because you have same choice like me. But you and me always try and try more than enough. Also I would like to give you an advise, if you want yo write a blog please give a creative theme or design on it because as I can see your writing and your language is good, but I cannot see any pictues on your blog. So, I hope you can make your blog more colorful than before.

     My favorite character from Romeo and Juliet is Benvolio. He is from the Montague. He is Romeo’s cousin and good friend to Romeo. Literaly, Benvolio means “good will”.
