The Reasons We Should Study at University

In the third grade of senior high school we will face the last exam called National Exam. So, we will think about our future. Some of us as the student might think to have a job or continue our study at university. But in this time, it is hard to apply for a job after graduate from senior high school if we do not have a skill. So, we decide to improve ourselves by continue our study at university for a good job and future because in a university we can get personality development, work experience and better career prospect.

We have a chance to develop and to improve our personalities in university. Maybe when we are in the school, we never do anything to improve our skills and just focus on academics or we never have an achievement. But, study at university has so many self-development facilities like organizations, competitions, seminar, talk show, and public lecture. We can participate in it because there is so many educations and knowledge that we can get from it like sharing our ideas in an organization meeting for a workshop program or attending a seminar, talk show, and public lecture to improve our knowledges and to get informations beside your study.

Study at university also create work expereiences. As we said before, the university has a lot of facilities one of them is organizations. An organization provide some works and activities for its members and the members have to be responsibility, professional and active. The benefits of join an organization are we will learn about ourselves, we will develop our soft skills, we will learn how to work with a team, we will learn how to engage with diverse groups of people, we will gain leadership skills, we will have fun, etc.  Now we know that participate in an organization is very important because it has a lot of work experience.

Study at university makes better career prospect. At university, we study based on our skills and major that we think it has suitable career prospect for us. If we know what we want to do after graduating, a vocational degree can significantly improve our job prospects at the same time as giving us professional skills and knowledge relevant to our future career. As an example, we passion in English and we take English Department, we found this passion has a good career prospect like to work on publisher office as an editorial, so we can use our vocational degree to apply for this job.

In conclusion, study at university is very important for ourselves. We can improve our character, get a work experience and a better job. We can get it all if we study hard and earnestly. So, study at university can help us to reach our goals better.
